Beatroute

Do not fear mistakes. There are none. The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance. Rude am I in my speech, And little blessed with the soft phrase of peace. When I'm on stage, I'm trying to do one thing: bring people joy. I dream for a living.

Welcome to Beatroute Arts

Initially set up as a Music project in 1990 through Urban Aid funding with Glasgow City Council Beatroute, in its current form, emerged in September 2004. We are a youth project for 10 -25 years and our members make up the management committee receiving guidance from experienced staff and support from other community partners. We are committed to providing opportunities for creative learning and improving skills by developing a range of arts activities and programs that support, educate and inspire.

Our vision is of a society in which people are inspired to make a positive difference and make positive choices in their lives and in their communities. A vibrant community deserves a strong voice and the best support. We aim to be effective in our approach and creative in our work with groups, individuals and other organisations.
